“Dream: An American Story”

The story of an extraordinary and talented student who struggles to remain in the only country he has ever known: the U.S.A. Six years in the making, five months of editing with over 200 hours of footage. Winner: 2014 Regional Emmy award

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC:

“K-2: The Great Adventure”

following the successful Chilean expedition to the K-2 peak in Pakistan. National Geographic Television showed this documentary as part of its series “Quest for K-2”.

PBS:

“Cuba Mía”

90-minute and 60 minute versions. A documentary (produced by Accent Media Inc), about an all-woman orchestra in Havana, Cuba. Aired nationally on PBS. Winner of several awards, including the 2003 Silver at the Chicago International Film Festival.

SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION:

“National Museum of the American Indian”

Several programs edited using visuals of various Indian tribes in the Americas. Presently being shown at the Museum of the American Indian in Washington D.C., as part of the permanent exhibit. Also edited videos for the exhibition “Identity by Design”, covering details of Native American women’s attires.

SHORT PIECES:

“Cuerpos Pintados”

Spanish version of “African Ceremonies”, with footage and photographs by the well-known British photographers Angela Fisher and Carol Beckwith.

UC-TV NETWORK-CHILE:

"Al Sur del Mundo"

International award-winning documentary series. Series aired all over Latin America for fifteen consecutive years. Winner of three International awards, in Canada and Italy.

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC:

“Megacities”

Edited three one-hour long programs on this series focusing on the technological complexities of big cities around the world. The programs edited were: Sao Paulo, Mexico City and Taipei.

DISCOVERY CHANNEL:

“One Night on Earth”

One-hour program about street racing around the world.“Young Scientists Challenge”. One-hour show with the top-40 young scientists of the country facing various challenges.

SMITHSONIAN CHANNEL:

“Secret Gardens”

One hour show with experts from the Smithsonian Institution on how to implement the best techniques to have a healthy homegrown garden.

WORLD BANK:

Video Unit: “Yanacocha Mining Project”, half-hour special video about the largest gold mine in the world.

INDEPENDENT DOCUMENTARY:

“Code Name: Butterflies”

A one-hour documentary depicting the fate of the Mirabal sisters who died fighting the dictatorship of General Trujillo in the Dominican Republic of the 1950´s.

UC-TV NETWORK-CHILE:

“Visiones”

Over three hundred short stories edited, covering Chile and all of Latin America. Also directed and photographed during the final four years of the program.
